Penguins Offseason Moves

Chris and Dan reconvene to talk about all things Pens in Episode 128, focusing on all the moves made so far in the NHL offseason. We start with injury updates on Phil Kessel and Evgeni Malkin, and then move into the trade rumors that were (weren’t). Evgeni Malkin was not traded. Marc-Andre Fleury was not traded. We are no shocked. Next up is the status of Matt Cullen and Justin Schultz, and we give our thoughts on what may or may not happen with those two. Will either be re-signed? Jim Rutherford was given a contract extension, and we react to the deal. And finally, we round things out by talking about New Jersey’s acquisitions of Ben Lovejoy, Beau Bennett, and Taylor Hall, and recap the crazy day that saw Hall, PK Subban-Shea Weber, and Steven Stamkos all make moves.
