What’s up everybody?! We’re back with our first episode of our new format! Unfortunately, the subject matter isn’t all exciting. We start things off recapping the Steelers 35-30 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. It featured more mind-numbing mistakes and finding a new way to lose. We debate what Keith Butler and Mike Tomlin even do on a week-to-week basis, and we discuss how the organization is wasting the best years of Ben Roethlisberger’s career with a team that can’t even be average.
Then we dive into Penguins talk, discussing another successful week with wins against the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs, along with a loss to the Minnesota Wild. Crosby vs. McDavid was a lot of fun to watch, Matt Murray and Marc-Andre Fleury continue to play well between the pipes, and Mike Sullivan continues to push the right buttons when it comes to line combinations. We dig into a debate on the Penguins’ reputation for coming from behind to win in the third period and if that’s a good or bad thing.
